Kathmandu. On Tuesday, Apple released iPhone 15 series, Apple Watch series nine and Apple Watch Ultra devices. iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple has introduced four iPhone models. Various features in this model are different from other iPhone models. However, the company has provided some features in various models of iPhone 15 influenced by Android.
At the Apple event, the company had already introduced attractive and new features compared to other phones by several brands. Influenced by Android, various features introduced by Apple in the iPhone 15 model are discussed below.
USB-C (ported from Lee Wan and Lee Max One 2015)
Many users were in two minds whether Apple will always include a lightning port in the iPhone or bring a new charging port. Addressing the European Union policy and consumer demand, Apple has provided a Type-C port in all models of the iPhone 15 lineup. A policy passed by the European Union last year has forced all phone and other device manufacturers to implement Type-C on all devices after December 28, 2024. It was understood that Apple will launch the Type-C charging system with the iPhone 16 in 2024. However, the company has provided Type-C charging port in iPhone 15.
So which brand was the first to implement the Type-C charging system? LG, HTC or Samsung that you imagine are not on this list. First of all, the smartphone manufacturer named 'Leeco' launched the Type-C charging system in its Li One and Li Max models in 2015. Android version was in use at that time.
Periscope camera (a feature of the Huawei P30 Pro released in 2019)
After a long wait, Apple has finally made available the standard periscope telephoto lens to the users of the new iPhone. This is the defining feature of the new camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This feature is not available on all Android phones like USB-C. Huawei provided such a feature in the Huawei P30 Pro released in 2019.
The periscope telephoto lens provided by Apple in the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a five times optical zoom capability, while other iPhone models have a three times telephoto zoom facility. This feature is also available in Google's recently released Pixel Seven Pro. Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra has an optical zoom capability of up to 10 times.
3D video recording (feature on HTC EVO 3D 2017)
In 2017, HTC took the initiative to improve the camera experience of users. At that time, the company introduced the HTC Evo 3D feature. The company said that users can capture 3D content with its help.
Apple has provided Spatial Recording feature in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max to provide the same video for Vision Pro headset. According to Apple, using this feature, the user can capture video in 3D and that video can be viewed from the Vision Pro headset, which will be available in the United States in the beginning of 2024, according to the company.
This feature brought by Apple for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max was already available in Android in 2017.
Titanium Frame (Essential Phone 2017)
The features that make the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max premium, Type-C, Periscope telephoto camera and 3D have all already come to Android. Apart from those features, another attractive feature in the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the titanium frame. Apple claims that the grade five titanium in it has made the phone lighter as well as durable. Apple has kept the glass on the back and has included titanium in the frame.
This feature is also not the first time in iPhone 15. In the Essential phone released in 2017, the company kept a titanium frame. Apart from that, the Essential Phone provided a notch cutout for the camera for the first time.
